Internship programme
POLYMATHS IN TRAINING
The best talent is made, not born
At Design Prodigy, we invest in the next generation of polymaths through our unique internship programme.
Selecting the best
Our applicants go through a rigorous selection process, including interviews and fluid intelligence tests. Filtering for smarts, speed, and grit, we select from the top 3% of students from leading universities in Singapore. Curated into teams of three, our interns spend 5-12 weeks solving real-life marketing challenges that keep even the smartest professionals up at night.
We promise growth (it may hurt)
Each team is given a complex marketing challenge at the intersection of data, technology, and human psychology. Our interns have free rein to choose their hypotheses, define their methodologies, and run their experiments.
Whether it is the valley of death or the challenge of a lifetime, all our interns experience the satisfying pain of learning. Going through multiple iterations of failure and success, our interns sharpen their sense-making and hone their intuitions to become confident problem-solvers.
Their work culminates in a lasting product: a groundbreaking digital marketing framework that can be applied to real-world situations.
The final challenge? Our now world-ready interns showcase their insights to top industry leaders. With their fresh perspectives and newly sharpened understanding of technology, our interns have managed to impress top marketers from SAP, CenturyLink, Randstad, Citrix and GoJek.
A career starts here
Once we know how each talent performs under the pressure of real-time marketing innovation, the fastest, smartest, and grittiest interns are invited to join our team full-time. A career at DP sets them on the path to join global leaders in technology such as Google.
Challenge accepted?
We are looking for interns who have the rigour to transform ideas into frameworks and frameworks into codified action. You will collaborate to develop dynamic mental models through high-velocity iterations. Would you like to learn how to think fast, probe deep, and take the courageous leap into a better future?

Intern reflections
“Having no background in marketing nor the multi-dimensional thinking that DP is centred around meant that there was a lot to wrap my head around and get used to. The fast pace in DP only served to quicken my pace of learning. In fact, I was surprised at how much I learnt in such a short amount of time, not only about digital marketing but how to engage and communicate with different people and be more creative and critical in my thinking. I was constantly having to challenge the way I thought. “
Emma Herft, 2019
University of Canberra
“I was constantly exposed to nuggets of knowledge as there is a strong culture of knowledge sharing. We got plugged into key insights in marketing and marketing technology. I soon realised that the world beyond university and the world I am about to step into, is bigger than what I had ever expected. In Design Prodigy, I was taught to look at what the experts in the industry were most concerned about to narrow down my research. More importantly, I learnt how to look across many different fields – even those which seem irrelevant – to find striking parallels which can uncover the “Nature” of things.”
