It’s Okay to Take a Break
When I first started out, I felt the pressure to be constantly busy. The desire to “succeed” and a fear of losing out (just search for “What [name of highly successful person] does in a day” on Youtube and you get the idea) made me pack my schedule to the brim in a frankly unnecessary way.
Thankfully, experience and advice from mentors and friends gave me a new perspective on my relationship with work. I cannot say I have achieved “work life balance” (or “work life harmony” as the new buzzword goes these days), but this is a start.
